The W1680 is fitted with a 1/16" to 5/8" JT-3 keyed drill chuck and a Morse Taper #3 for the larger direct mount bits. This 17" Floor Drill Press offers 3-1/4" of spindle travel and a drilling capacity of 1" through mild steel. The 14" diameter, round table can swivel 360° around the column and allows for drilling at different angles as it tilts 90° in both directions. Setting the adjustable depth stop allows for predetermined and repeatable drilling. With solid cast-iron construction, sealed ball bearings, and rubber coated quick-adjust handles, the W1680 has the quality and convenience you want in a machine investment.
