As a full-time employee, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that forms an integral part of your total compensation. - Health Insurance: You will have the opportunity to choose from a range of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for both yourself and your eligible dependents. AIH pays for a portion of the medical benefit to lower the cost for the employees.
- Employee Discount Program: After completing 90 days of employment, you will be eligible for a generous employee discount on Alaska Industrial Hardware products. This discount can also be extended to one eligible family member.
- Retirement Savings: We offer a 401(k) plan with a company match of up to 6% of your contributions, subject to eligibility requirements. We also offer a ROTH 401(k) as well for post-tax savings.
- Continued Education Benefit: We believe in supporting your professional growth. Therefore, we provide a continued education benefit that covers up to 50% of the cost for classes aimed at enhancing your skills in your current position. Certain conditions apply.
- Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment: To ensure the financial security of our employees, we provide a $50,000 life insurance policy for each employee, offering peace of mind in the event of an unforeseen circumstance, subject to eligibility requirements.
- Additional Life Insurance and Additional AD&D: Life Insurance and/or AD&D Buy-Up for Employees is available as well as adding Spouse and Child to the Buy-up.
- Additional Coverage Opportunities: Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity coverages are also available to employees after the first month of service.
- Short- and Long-Term Disability: We offer comprehensive coverage for both short-term and long-term disabilities, subject to eligibility requirements.
- Paid Time Off (PTO): PTO is earned on an accrual basis, with increases based on your years of service. Additionally, you will receive paid time off for company-recognized holidays, jury duty, bereavement, subsistence and parental leave.
- Health Club Benefit: We encourage a healthy lifestyle and provide a monthly reimbursement of $50 for gym membership fees. This benefit is available to you if you attend the gym at least 8 times per month.
- Hiring Bonus: Upon completing 180 days of employment, you will receive a hiring bonus of $500 as a token of our appreciation.
