- 80-pound poly hopper: weather-resistant, blue poly hopper holds up to 80 pounds of material; powder-coated steel frame and an enclosed gearbox to withstand the elements

- Ergonomic, U-shaped handle: very little assembly needed with the flip-up, U-shaped handle, it simply flips up when removed from the box; comfortable to grip with gloves and push while spreading ice melt and salt products
- Adjustable settings: use the gate dial to change the gate opening based on the particulates; recommended for use with salt, halite, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride and calcium chloride (small and pelletized particulates); use the baffles to direct where you spread your product
- Spiked auger: rugged, plastic spiked auger breaks up clumps so your preferred salt or ice melt can easily flows through the gate opening
- Tires and accessories: wide-tread, 12-inch pneumatic tires to move over icy ground; rain/snow cover included to keep the hopper protected while you’re working
